Transportation of Hazardous Goods Training

The regulation of every country may different of this transportation especially on the transportation standard of hazardous goods, so the best training about this transportation system better perform in the local country where the transport system will apply. The Transportation of Hazardous goods regulations require that, with few exceptions, every person engaged in the handling, offering for transport or transporting of hazardous goods including hazardous waste be trained in the area of handling such thing. This transportation course helps the student to understand the basics of the legislation, history, the act and the regulations, and defined legislated responsibilities.

Transportation training assists employers in complying with the training requirements of The Transportation of Hazardous Goods Act as well as instructing participants in accordance with the requirements of the legislation handling, transporting, or shipping hazardous goods.

A better understanding about the basics of Transportation legislation history, act, regulations, and responsibilities

  • Identify the Classification System of the nine classes of hazardous goods and their associated hazards
  • Learn the shipping names, classes, UN Number and packing groups for dangerous goods encountered on the job
  • Understand the information required on the shipping document
  • Understand the requirements regarding mixed loads, segregation of hazardous goods, and choosing the proper means of containment
  • Learn the proper use of all equipment that is used in the handling, offering for transport and or Transporatation of hazardous goods
